The Profitability of Social Entrepreneurship

Thursday, 16 November, 2017 @ 8:00 am - Friday, 17 November, 2017 @ 5:00 pm

Global Hands, De Mont Fort University and its partners are organising a two-day summit on the profitability of social entrepreneurship.
Speakers will discuss the juxtaposition between social entrepreneurs’ motivation to generate work that has a positive impact on society and the need to generate enough income to survive. The conference aims to create a space to show how social entrepreneurship can both do social good and be profitable to those who engage in it.

Discussions will also centre on;

  1.  Exploring the theoretical frameworks underpinning social entrepreneurship and the nexus between profit and social good
  2.  Showcasing great examples of successful social entrepreneurship
  3.  Creating a networking space for upcoming social entrepreneurs
  4.  Sharing ideas of successfully setting up social enterprises.
