On Friday the 12th January 2018, Global Hands in Collaboration with De Montfort University will host; Questioning the “Logic of the System”: Generating Counter Development Narratives for Emerging Countries. The one-day conference as part of the Mboka Festival 2018, will bring together 80 scholars, academics, policy makers, practitioners and students, to critically examine narratives and counter-narratives to development, with the following objectives of amplifying missing Southern voices in dominant mainstream narratives amongst others.
