“Some of you are regular visitors to The Gambia, and others have suffered the pain and isolation of exile, caused by 22 years of dictatorship. Yet, all of you, through different ways,
have maintained your emotional and
developmental ties with our great country”

H.E. President Adama Barrow – 23 September 2017

Global & Bi-Lateral Engagement

Working in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), the MSDG project will initiate and support consultations and negotiations to advance bi-lateral international cooperation and diplomatic relationships between Gambia and countries such the Swiss Federation, Federal Republic of Germany and The Italian Republic. The focus shall initially be on partnerships in different aspects of migration and sustainable development.

The MSDG Project will also provide training, mentoring and technical support to facilitate effective Gambian participation and potential leadership in migration and sustainable development processes such as the Global Compact on Migration, Rabat Process, African Free Movement negotiations, and African Industrialisation.
